Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies — pixels, local storage, session storage and SDKs — do comparable jobs. We use them in line with the UAE PDPL and telecom regulations administered by the TDRA.

The signup flow also keeps your progress in your browser’s session storage so you do not lose it between steps. That is cleared when you close the tab, and it is there to provide the service rather than something we ask consent for.

2. The cookies and storage we use

• Strictly necessary — sign-in, session security and fraud prevention; remembering the choice you make in the cookie banner (tpm-consent); and remembering whether you chose the dark or light theme (tpm-theme, held in your browser only). These cannot be switched off; the site will not work without them.
• Functional — optional conveniences such as remembering a language choice or a dismissed message. None are in use today.
• Analytics — understanding how pages perform, in aggregate, so we can improve the product. None are in use today; if we add them, they will be set only with your consent.
• Marketing — measuring campaigns from platforms such as Meta Ads and Google Ads. None are in use today; these would be set only with your consent.

3. Third-party cookies

Connected tools and embedded content can set their own cookies, governed by their own policies. As it stands this site loads no third-party analytics or advertising tags and sets no third-party cookies. Fonts are served from our own domain rather than a third party, so no request leaves for one before you have chosen.

The current list is the one shown under “Cookie preferences”. Where that list is empty for a category, nothing in it is running.

4. Your choices

• Use the cookie banner, or Cookie preferences, to accept, decline, or fine-tune non-essential cookies at any time. You can also withdraw consent entirely from the same panel, which makes us ask again from scratch.
• Declining is a single click and costs you nothing: the site behaves the same either way, because nothing optional is running yet.
• Browser controls let you block or delete cookies; the platform may lose some functionality if strictly necessary cookies are blocked.
• Opting out of marketing cookies stops ad measurement by us but not advertising in general.

5. Retention

Session cookies expire when you close the browser. Your consent record lasts up to 13 months, after which we ask again; it is also refreshed each time you change your preferences. Other persistent cookies would live from 24 hours to 13 months depending on purpose.
